I grew up as the daughter of a commercial artist with numerous international ADDY Awards, yet I never imagined I would follow in her footsteps. Instead, I pursued a career in education, spending 17 years as a middle school Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Therapist.

Over time, I realized the education system no longer allowed me to do what I felt was truly best for students without navigating endless and unnecessary obstacles. I wanted more—for the kids I served and for myself. I missed creativity, autonomy, and meaningful fulfillment in my work.

When a friend reached out in need of a marketing director, I knew it was time to take the leap of faith I had been praying about.

Shortly after, an ad for Texas Tech University’s Digital Marketing Science program appeared on my social media—an ironic reminder of marketing’s reach and influence. Enrolling in the program reignited my love for learning while allowing me to continue helping others succeed. Soon after, I accepted the role of Chief Marketing Officer for MFSC Capital. Within a month, I received multiple additional offers, affirming that this career path was exactly where I was meant to be.

In May 2024, I launched my freelance digital marketing firm, Sky Densman LLC, followed by my business platforms @MommingMarketer, where I share resources for busy moms and business owners. I specialize in website design and builds, website optimization, SEO, digital business profile creation and optimization, and social media management and consulting—primarily serving small, family-owned businesses across Central Texas.

Today, I’m grateful to bring together creativity, strategy, and execution to help businesses strengthen their online presence and grow with confidence—doing work that feels purposeful, fulfilling, and deeply aligned with who I am… much like my mom did.

Outside of work, I live on the family ranch I grew up on with my husband, Dylan, and our daughter, Marek—a grounding reminder of where I come from and who I do this work for.
